Graphicus - Graphing Calculator App Reviews

This is a very nice graphical calculator. But here are some suggestions: Make it possible to resize the axis independably. Now i have to work with factors to fit it on the screen. Make it possible to show only relevant part of the function (e.g. 0.125 < x < 1). Make it native on iPad. The first two are very important features, the latter would be nice.

This App is very good. Very neat analysis for functions intersections, zero cross detection and min max detection. The graphical look is so good. Also, copy paste is compatible with other apps, something that allows to combine graphicus with other math app like pocketCAS. It would be very userful to be able to zoom x and y axis independently.

Slim and still very useful. Derivative plotting is the thing, that I was searching for a long time. Thank you

Very nice and friendly plotter for 2d, I am evaluating it till this moment. Suggestions as Mathematician The issues and petitions for next updates: 1)Please incorporate a feature to save/load graphs , this is essential. 2)add the feature to plot x=f(y), for example: x=y^2 3)needs to plot implicit equations: x^2+y^2=25 (circle radius=5) The good: Fantastic app, since I ve tried almost all graphers in the store and only few ones has the magnificient feature of plotting derivatives. As math teacher I hope you can take into account my petition . Nice purchase , buy it guys.

Now I can stop searching a math tool like this, its fast, nice and very handy

My only complaints with this app are 1. The onscreen keyboard should be customized for entering equations 2. Touching and holding on an icon should show a bubble describing what it is Other than that, I have not found anything wrong with it and would recommend it.

I am a math professor who enjoys using graphing calculators. Graphicus has amazing visual appeal in a calculus course. Where else can you click one button and see tangent lines as you move across the graph? Click another button to find roots, another to find max-mins, and yet another to find points of inflection. It is amazing!

A five star grapher MUST have the following: 1. The ability to do multiple functions in different colors at the same time. 2. The ability to find inflection points, axis intercepts, maxima & minima, and intersections of curves. 3. The ability to graph implicit functions like x^2 + y^2 = 4 4. The ability to graph the derivative and definite integral between any two points. 5. A function type keyboard for convenience of entering equations. This has the first three done better than any I have seen. If they add the last two, it will clearly be the very best grapher available for the iphone!

Great mathematical app. highly recommended.

This app has everything I need, and is easy to use. The only thing I can think of to improve this app is a shake to reset grid feature, but this is so minor it well deserves 5 stars.

I got this when I was helping my daughter with her algebra, and its been great. I wish Id had it when I was doing my physics degree. As others have said, the UI very smooth, and its nice to be able to drag along the graph and see tangents, values, and intersections. The ability to plot derivatives is nice too. Devs: only two complaints so far. First, please please add a more calculator-like keyboard for function entry. This would be a huge improvement. Secondly, functions with discontinuities arent handled well--holes should be indicated and the plotter shouldnt attempt to interpolate across the discontinuity. I hope to see more updates to this app. Its worth the $2. UPDATE: The new keyboard is a BIG improvement! I very much agree with HMWhitcrafts review. My biggest gripe is still the poor handling of discontinuities. For example, graph y=tan x and play with the zoom.

I had a problem whith the braces, turns out some of them denote floor function , so i couldnt graph things well at first, and I still cant find where to calculate definite integrals, as it said somewhere in the introduction, but other than that, its really good.

Use it all the time in my college algebra. One thing wrong with it...my icon on my iPhone 4 is not hi-def like the icon i see in the app store. Please fix!

Wow. This app looks pretty awesome, but after using it for a short while it has become apparent that it is not working as advertised. I assume its because I am running the new iOS 6. Specifically, once entering a f(x) I am not offered that possibility again when tapping the + . Also, when trying to delete one function, the program deletes all of them and then seems to crash. Choosing "app support" takes me to a sign up for Facebook page. I am not signing up to Facebook and thus this review. Please update the app, as it has Soooo much potential for being awesome.
